Eligibility Requirements

Biomedical Engineering Students

  • Number of personnel Regions can accommodate: two
  • Time of stay: Minimum: 5 Months Maximum: 1 Year

Eligibility:

  • Must be a 400 level of a recognized Nigeria university
  • Must present an accompanying letter duly signed by his/her HOD from the University
  • Must be willing to adhere to Regions Hospital policies.

Accommodation: You are expected to provide your own accommodation.

Posting: will be posted to Regions Biomedical Unit.

Stipend: Will be provided a stipend of N15,000 per month for the period or as determined by Regions Management.

Report to the Manager in charge of Biomedical Equipment.

Medical Physiology Students

  • Number of Students Regions Can accommodate: Two
  • Time of stay: Minimum: 5 Months Maximum: 6 Months

Eligibility:

  • Must be a 300 level student of a recognized Nigeria university
  • Must present an accompanying letter duly signed by his/her HOD from the University
  • Must be willing to adhere to Regions Hospital policies.

Accommodation: You are expected to provide your own accommodation.

Posting: will be posted to Regions Neurodiagnostic Unit.

Stipend: Will be provided a stipend of N15,000 per month for the period or as determined by Regions Management.

Report to the unit head.

Anatomy Students

  • Number of students Regions can accommodate: One
  • Time of stay: Minimum: 5 Months Maximum: 6 Months

Eligibility:

  • Must be a 300 level student of a recognized Nigeria university
  • Must present accompanying letter duly signed by his/her HOD from the University
  • Must be willing to adhere to Regions Hospital policies.
  • You are expected to provide your own accommodation.

Posting: will be posted to Labrad to work under Radiology unit.

Stipend: Will be provided a stipend of N15,000 per month for the period or as determined by Regions Management.

Report to the unit head.

STUDENTS OBSERVERSHIP

This is applicable to the following

  1. Nigeria Medical students
  2. Nursing Students
  3. Physiology Students
  4. Physiotherapy Students
  5. Occupational Therapy Students
  6. Radiography Students
  7. Medical Laboratory Students

Duration: Based on school curriculum

Accommodation: you are to provide your own accommodation.  

Stipend: N/A

Must be willing to adhere to Regions Hospital policies.

Report to the unit head.

Regions Healthcare industrial Training and students/Graduate observership program shall be in the following areas:

GRADUATE OBSERVERSHIP

This is applicable to the following

  • Foreign-trained medical graduate
  • Foreign-trained Nursing graduate
  • Graduate Physiotherapist
  • Graduate Occupational Therapist
  • Radiography Graduate
  • Medical Laboratory Graduate
  • Graduate Physiologist

Duration: Minimum: 6 Months Maximum: 1 Year

Eligibility:

  • Must be a graduate from a recognized university.
  • For Nigeria Graduates, an accompanying letter signed by the HOD and a statement of results, if available, must be presented.
  • Must present their degree certificate for Foreign-trained Graduate
  • Must be willing to adhere to Regions Hospital policies.

Accommodation: Candidates are expected to provide their own accommodation.

Stipend: Will be provided a stipend of N30,000 per month for the period or as determined by Regions Management on a case–by–case basis.
